ROCK ATX Ministries

Invitation

Then the master told the servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full.’ – Luke 14:23

Mission Statement: To intentionally engage 7 days a week in evangelism through street ministry, college ministry and family and friends day.  To plan and coordinate activities designed to reach out to individuals through invitation cards, canvassing with flyers/door hangers and signs strategically positioned in specific areas of the city, and college campus ministry evangelistic efforts.  To ensure that the church body has an evangelistic mindset through promotional activities such as family and friends days, visitation days and special services.  To oversee activities and organizational duties related to the planning and advertising of special events.

Reception

Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in it's various forms. - 1 Peter 4:9-10

Mission Statement: To create a friendly, warm, clean and spiritual atmosphere for our first time and repeated guests. To provide guests information that will increase their knowledge of the ministry. To collect data from guests that give us a higher probability of guests becoming partners. To create an atmosphere of friendship, fellowship, and depth of relationship for our partners.

Follow-up

Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. – Romans 12:4-5

Mission Statement:  To take the Ananias of Damascus approach (Acts 9:18; 22:8-16) to the ministry by endeavoring to reach, receive and accept individuals into our ministry.   To provide love, care and sincere invitation to become part of the R.O.C.K. ATX family.  To follow-up on first-time guests, repeat guests and partners.  To assist guests in transitioning into partner through discovering how we can provide a user-friendly worship environment for our guests.  Establish relationships through emails, phone calls, and visitor fellowships.  Provide pastoral care and concern for all existing partners at every level of ministry through Partner’s Care Ministry.

Integration

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.  Instead speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. – Ephesians 4:14-15

Mission Statement:  To provide an organized and efficient system that will assist the membership in the process of integration into the ministry and personal spiritual development (membership, maturity, ministry, and missions). To integrate congregants into a full commitment to the ministry by involving them in Kingdom Citizenship classes, Kingdom Life Groups, SHAPE, ministry involvement, and sustainability efforts.

Kingdom Education

Do your best to present to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. – 2 Timothy 2:15

Mission Statement: To provide quality and spiritual discipleship programs for the congregants from the cradle to the grave.  To train and equip the membership for the varying facets of ministry.  To ensure the establishment of a solid foundation through Kingdom Citizenship Classes, followed by evangelism and discipleship classes and other spiritual development classes to navigate Kingdom citizens in their spiritual growth.

Worship

Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and fluyte, praise him with the clash of symbols, praise him with resounding cymbals. - Psalms 150:3-5
